As grand as the Hill Country of Texas, the Mullins Prairie Display Cabinet strikes an epic silhouette with its shaped crown and architectural details. Exuding a vintage appeal, the focal-point cabinet has 2 wood-framed antique seeded glass doors, 3 adjustable wood-framed glass shelves and one fixed shelf and a touch-switch light on the right hinge. The custom-latch hardware has a rustic vibe. The medium wood-tone Washoff finish on the back panel offers a pop of contrast to the rich dark Antique Varnish finish of the case.
Taking the next step in creating a Hill Country family of collections, Hooker Furniture has introduced LaGrange. The anthology of bedroom, living room, dining room, occasional and home office furniture is inspired by the Hill Country region of Texas, including the town of LaGrange, one of the stops made by the Hooker Furniture design team in search of inspiration. The collection includes heavily distressed oak and hickory surfaces, extensive carving and scroll work, aged metals, sedimentary stone and primitive textiles. Each piece has a unique story to tell, while still retaining the authentic American character of the original collection. LaGrange is updated with a fresh new personality, brought to life by four distinctive finishes and modern conveniences for the lifestyles of today.

Antique Varnish, a rich dark finish with highlights of natural wear and distressing on the exterior. Wash off finish on interior. Distressing includes hand planing, sandblasting, drawknife and wormholes.
Hooker Furniture utilizes a multiple-step finish process of up to 16 finish steps. This results in an unsurpassed clarity, depth and color richness and durability to our finishes. Through hand-craftsmanship such as rubbing and padding, our finishes feel as good as they look, with a smoothness that is delightful to the touch.
Hooker Furniture uses carefully chosen solid wood and select wood veneers over durable wood products in our furniture construction. Use of veneers enables more decorative looks unattainable with solid wood. Veneers are used over durable wood products such as medium density fiberboard (MDF) and particle board, made of renewable resources. MDF and particle board are used in quality furniture for areas that need to be stable, such as large surfaces. These durable wood products do not expand and contract with heat and cold and do not absorb moisture as much as solid wood, which results in stronger and longer-lasting furniture.
Pecky Hickory Veneer, Resin, Oak Veneer, Glass, Antique Seeded Glass and Puck Light
We recommend dusting frequently with a clean, soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Clean the surface by rubbing in the direction of the grain. We recommend polishing your furniture approximately every six months using a clean, soft, lint-free cloth and rubbing the polish in the direction of the grain. Guardsman furniture polish or any furniture polish that doesn't contain silicone is recommended.
